Children Of The Americas by Aurora Levins Morales, 1986

After reading the poem by Aurora Levins Morales it made me think about heritage. I saw creativity and uniqueness in the words she used.  It really made me think.... the poem also describes ancestry, becoming new again.  I feel the poem describes women of many generations and the skills that they learned from watching mothers and grandparents, etc. Maybe the author was describing her family.
